El próximo lunes aparecerá el primero número de la "Revista Latinoamericana de Derecho Procesal". La revista es argentina pero, como su nombre lo indica, agrupa investigadores de toda Latinoamérica. Uno de los tres miembros mexicanos del consejo editorial es nuestro ex-alumno y profesor, Luis Darío Ángeles González. ¡Felicidades, Darío! "La Revista Latinoamericana de Derecho Procesal (RLADP) es una publicación cuatrimestral de carácter internacional que nuclea trabajos de doctrina y fallos de las distintas ramas de la materia, fomentando el intercambio y debate académico. Contiene las siguientes secciones: doctrina con referato (evaluada por pares académicos conforme estipula el Reglamento, bajo el sistema doble ciego), doctrina no arbitrada (reservada para trabajos de juristas con trayectoria internacional), comentarios a jurisprudencia y fallos destacados. Se encuentra bajo la dirección de Gustavo Calvinho y la coordinación académica de Gabriel Hernández Villarreal y cuenta con el auspicio de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Austral y el Instituto Panamericano de Derecho Procesal. El Ing. Mario A. Trujillo Guerra, Subdirector de Área de la Delegación Nuevo León, hace de su conocimiento que el Canciller José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, autorizó los Acuerdos por los cuales se dan a conocer las convocatorias a los Concursos Públicos General de Ingreso a las ramas Diplomático-Consular y Técnico-Administrativa del Servicio Exterior Mexicano 2014, con el fin de cubrir hasta 35 plazas en la categoría de Agregado Diplomático, así como hasta 60 plazas en la categorías de Técnico Administrativo "C", de las cuales 30 plazas son para especialistas en el área de Administración y 30 plazas para especialistas en el área de Asuntos Consulares y de Protección. Por tal motivo, se anexan al presente las convocatorias de los concursos en mención, las cuales fueron publicadas en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el pasado viernes 18 de julio de 2014. Dinorah Cantu’s Commencement at the Yankee Stadium. Dinorah recently graduated from the Master in Public Administration (in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy) program, at New York University Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Congratulations, Dinorah ! FLDM Law School will co-host the 10th Global Legal Skills Conference! GLS-10 will take place at The John Marshall Law School (an FLDM Law School partner), in Chicago, May 2015. The Global Legal Skills Conference brings together professionals from around the world who work in law, legal education, skills education, and language. GLS has been hosted by The John Marshall Law School in Chicago (three times), by Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey (twice), by Georgetown University Law Center (once), and by the University of Verona Faculty of Law (once). It took place in Costa Rica twice. We are very proud to announce that Eugenio J. Cárdenas graduated from the Doctor of the Science of Law (JSD) program, at Stanford Law School. Eugenio graduated with honors from FLDM Law School in 1998. Then he graduated from the Thunderbird School of Global Management - ITESM joint program, Global Master of Business Administration (Global MBA). Later, he went to Harvard Law School, where he did his Master of Laws (LLM) with a Concentration in Corporate Law and Governance. Further, he attended the Stanford Program in International Legal Studies (SPILS) where he obtained the Master of the Science of Law (JSM). He is now a proud Stanford Doctor! The JSD “is awarded to students who, under the personal supervision of a faculty member, successfully pursue a course of advanced research in a field in which they are already well grounded, and who produce an advanced dissertation that, in the opinion of the supervising faculty member, makes a substantial contribution to knowledge.” Eugenio is now practicing Corporate Law and Governance in NY. Congratulations! Juan Jesus Garza Onofre had his Master's final oral exam today, at Carlos III, in Madrid. He graduated with honors! Congratulations Tito!
