​Dual Degrees

Dual degree programs are among our most prized offerings. We maintain strategic partnerships with several law schools in the United States that recognize studies completed in Mexico and enable the pursuit of a dual degree.

Among the options, you will find:

  • Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, ranked within the top 10 in Trial Advocacy Law and top 15 in Intellectual Property Law.
  • Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, one of the top 22 law schools in the United States, renowned for programs in Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law & Health Care Law.
  • Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, located in Dallas, a major business hub, excelling in Business/Corporate Law, International Law & Tax Law.
  • St. Mary’s School of Law, situated in San Antonio, ranked within the top 12 in Trial Advocacy Law.
  • Tulane University School of Law, based in New Orleans and renowned for programs in Energy Law, Environmental Law, Maritime Law, and recently, Space Law.

Tulane University Law School

This Consecutive Dual Degree Program provides the opportunity for FLDM students to enroll as full time students at the Tulane University Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program after completion of 3 years of their undergraduate study of law program at Facultad Libre.

This requires a minimum credit-weighted average that places the student within the top thirty per cent (30%) of his or her class over the first five semesters of the undergraduate law program. For further information, contact Lic. Fernanda Loera at ferloera @ fldm.edu.mx

The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law 

This Consecutive Dual Degree Program provides the opportunity for FLDM students to enroll as full time students at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law LL.M. Program after completion of 3 years of their undergraduate study of law program at Facultad Libre.
