international field trips
FLDM Law School organises annual study trips. In these trips, students meet with professors and students from other law schools, visit international organizations, headquarters of multinational corporations, and courts.
Fall 2015: New YorkILS @ FLDM organized a field trip to New York (Nov. 5 to Nov. 9, 2015) in order to attend the International Law Students Association (ILSA) International Law Weekend event, called "Global Problems, Legal Solutions: Challenges for Contemporary International Lawyers".
Besides the official events, the group of students joined a group of FLDM Law School alumni who live in NY for networking and international career possibilities. Thanks to the ILS @ FLDM Governing Board: Barbara Canceco, Jorge Villarreal and Andres Canales for organising this. |

Spring 2015: Chicago
The Spring 2015 Law Field Trip was held in May 2015. FLDM Law Students and Faculty Members attended the Global Legal Skills Conference X. Besides, they visited the Illinois Appellate Court, The John Marshall Law School, Northwestern Law School and the Consulado General de México en Chicago.
China & Japan Law Field Trip

In Shanghai, students visited the Mexican Consulate and a customs broker company. They also attended a presentation on International Law. On the cultural side, they explored the Bund, the Huangpu River, Nanjing Road, the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Finance and Trade Districts in Pudong and the Yuyuan Garden.
In Tokyo the group explored the Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace, Omotesando, Ginza, Roponji, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Asakusa. They also visited a Japanese University and a Law Firm.

U.S. Law Field Trip New York - 2012
This trip included visits to the United Nations, Reuters, Citigroup, the New York City Courts and an international law firm. Students also attended a panel presentation with U.N. representatives and an International Arbitration class at New York University School of Law. On the cultural side, students attended musical theatre performances in Broadway. The group also visited the Yankee Stadium.
