News from Pamela Teutli, Intern at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, May-Aug. 2014 "De enero a julio del 2014 tuve la oportunidad de hacer uno de mis mayores sueños realidad, una pasantía en la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos. El aprendizaje y las experiencias adquiridas fueron inigualables y sin lugar a dudas marcaron mi formación como profesional del derecho y me hicieron reafirmar mi vocación por la abogacía y la defensa de los derechos humanos. Esta experiencia no se resume en los seis meses de mi pasantía, inició desde mis primeros semestres en la FLDM con la dedicación de los profesores por darnos una formación integral, fuera y dentro del aula, al abordar temas trascedentes en materia internacional de los derechos humanos, los cuales pude aterrizar y enriquecer durante mi estancia en la Corte Interamericana. Welcome back, Pame! We are very proud to announce that Eugenio J. Cárdenas graduated from the Doctor of the Science of Law (JSD) program, at Stanford Law School. Eugenio graduated with honors from FLDM Law School in 1998. Then he graduated from the Thunderbird School of Global Management - ITESM joint program, Global Master of Business Administration (Global MBA). Later, he went to Harvard Law School, where he did his Master of Laws (LLM) with a Concentration in Corporate Law and Governance. Further, he attended the Stanford Program in International Legal Studies (SPILS) where he obtained the Master of the Science of Law (JSM). He is now a proud Stanford Doctor! The JSD “is awarded to students who, under the personal supervision of a faculty member, successfully pursue a course of advanced research in a field in which they are already well grounded, and who produce an advanced dissertation that, in the opinion of the supervising faculty member, makes a substantial contribution to knowledge.” Eugenio is now practicing Corporate Law and Governance in NY. Congratulations! Juan Jesus Garza Onofre had his Master's final oral exam today, at Carlos III, in Madrid. He graduated with honors! Congratulations Tito!

Congratulations to Brenda Cisneros Vilchis! She has passed the NY Bar Exam!
Brenda finished Law School in 2009, with and outstanding GPA, and passed her final oral exam in 2010. Her final paper was "Análisis del Artículo 197 de la Ley General de Sociedades Mercantiles en el Supuesto de que los Administradores o Comisarios representen la Mayoría del Capital Social". Later, Brenda did an LL.M. at The State University of New York Buffalo Law School (SUNY Buffalo). She now works at a NY law firm specialised in Trade Law.
